2010 Commonwealth Games

We are pleased to say that 14 of our former YoungStars have shined at the commonwealth Games and have won a total of nine gold, four silver and seven bronze medals. Those who competed are Marieke Guehrer (Monthly Winner 2003/04), Melissa Gorman (Nominee 2004/05), Alice Mills (Overall Winner 2004/05), Thomas Pichler (Monthly Winner 2005/06), Leith Brodie (Monthly Winner 2005/06), Jessicah Schipper (Overall Winner 2005/06), Bronte Barratt (Paper Winner 2007/08), Kylie Palmer (Overall Winner 2007/08), Emily Seebohm (Overall Winner 2008/09), Michael Hepburn (Paper Winner 2009/10), Blake Cochrane (Overall Winner 2009/10), Melissa Wu (Monthly Winner May June 2010/11), Jayden Hadler (Monthly Winner July August 2010/11), Yolane Kukla (Nominee September October 2010/11). Results like these show how good the program is at identifying young talent.
